For qualifying domestic undergraduate and graduate students, the Federal Work-Study program allows you to gain work experience while earning funds to help pay for your degree. Students who participate in work-study also benefit from networking opportunities that arise from working alongside professionals in an academic setting.
Students may opt to use work-study funds to perform community service, obtaining valuable work and life skills while helping others.
All available work-study positions are viewable in the portal. Interested students with a Federal Work-Study award should contact the for required employment documentation.
Work-study is awarded to students by Illinois Tech based on demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
